Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 Year Old is matured to perfection in three different types of oak casks.
These are sherry casks, first used to age sherry, traditional bourbon casks from America and new oak casks, coopered from European timber. The Glenfiddich Malt Master carefully selects the finest casks for maturation to ensure the smoothness and depth of flavor which characterize Glenfiddich Solera Reserve.
Aroma
Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 Year Old has a full and fruity nose, with delicate honey, vanilla notes and dry wood.
Taste
It is wonderfully smooth, with a great depth of flavor, combining fruit sweetness, gentle spice and a layers of oak.
Finish
The finish is long and satisfying with hints of candied fruits, raisins, spices and oak.
