From Woodford Reserve's experimental Master's Collection, this is a sweet mash, made with fresh grains, as opposed to previously used grains. Uniquely triple distilled in Woodford Reserve’s copper pot stills. Woodford Reserve Seasoned Oak Finish has been finished in barrels that have been seasoned (i.e. left outside) for three to five years rather than the usual three to five months. This process of seasoning changes the wood by reducing tannins and ultimately creates a new range of flavor compounds, and the resulting whisky is proclaimed by Woodford to be their most robust whiskey yet.
