1792 Ridgemont Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
1792 is the year of statehood for Kentucky as which this bourbon is named. 1792 Ridgemont Reserve is handcrafted from the fiesta corn, rye and malted barley. A unique mash bill contains more rye than most, resulting in full-bodied, complex taste that's not too sweet. Each barrel of 1792 ages no less than 8 years. Serve it neat, with a splash of water, or in traditional mixed drinks that allow the bourbon character to shine through. This is the official toasting whiskey of Kentucky Bourbon Festival.
Aroma
Big, heavy nose. The robust rye attitude of this one would stand out from other bourbons by the nose alone.
Taste
Mouthwatering oak. A taste of delicate cream with hints of apple characters. Smooth flavors of vanilla and caramel.
Finish
A oak finish with a shot of licorice and coffee. Still the robust rye is present to until your next sip. A very unique rye. Delightfully mouthwatering. A must have in any whiskey collection. This is your toasting bourbon for any special occasion.
