Kilchoman Loch Gorm Malt Scotch Whisky
Fans of Lagavulin should take note of Kilchoman's sherry-aged mainstay. Vibrant, busting with peat and smoke, then the sherry notes kick in with rich, sweet wine flavors. Named after a famously peaty loch at the end of the Kilchoman drive, Loch Gorm is the only fully ex-sherry cask matured release from Kilchoman. A true favorite of Whiskey Times.
Aroma
This Islay single malt scotch has aromas of honeycomb, burnt raisins and a hint of lemon. Balanced by smells of wood and smoke that welcome your nose when opening this bottle.
Taste
Kilchoman Loch Gorm has tastes of old rich wood with nice smokey flavors. Smoldering peat, cloves with fruits and spices. Very tasty. A must try if you love Lagavulin.
Finish
Lingering sweetness that is peppered but not too spicy. Smoke, dark rich wood and spices holds you until your next taste.
